The Sí, Se Puede Academic Success Institute was founded and established in Winter Quarter 2024 by Dr. Rodrigo Bonilla and continues to grow through the support of the El Centro Team, campus partners, and academic colleges. This institute aims to support students facing academic challenges at UC Davis. The institute consists of a one day academic experience that includes workshops, community building, and academic support to reclaim their scholarly identity. Students participate in this culturally immersive experience that allows them to access resources, build a support system with UC Davis career staff, and connect with other students who are also facing similar academic challenges.
