  • What is the difference between CHI LAT GRAD Celebration and UC Davis Commencement?

  • The Annual Chicanx Latinx Graduation Celebration honors the personal and academic achievements of graduating students — both undergraduate and graduate — who identify as Chicanx or Latinx or are friends of the ChiLat community. This event differs from the UC Davis Commencement ceremonies held at the Golden 1 Center by providing an inclusive celebration that fully embraces the significance of each graduating student's experience. All students are welcome to attend and celebrate with their peers, family and friends. The celebration is bi-lingual and there is a $35 to participate.
